STRANGE BUT TRUE
There is nothing stranger than the paranormal, all who have experienced this will no doubt agree. Here is a 'strange but true' story which was sent in by Karen, the author of 'The Mason And His Wife'.
If you have read my story of "The mason and his wife" you will already know that I have had my fair share of the paranormal. Well, as I have said before there where lot's more things which happened in that house which I was afraid to talk about, for fear of being critcized, but I have now decided to tell you some more of my experiences.
When I was young my bedroom was downstairs next to my parents. Later on I moved upstairs to my brother's room after he moved out.
When I was about 8 years old, I had gone to bed. My bedroom was just down the hallway from the kitchen and my parents bedroom was next to mine. In the kitchen we had cupboards underneath the sink, which made a unique squeaking sound when opened. Inside the cupboards was where my mom kept the soap dish, and rubber gloves, etc. Anyway, I was laying in bed unable to sleep when I heard the cupboard door opening slowly, I actually heard the squeaking sound which really freaked me out, as I knew my parents were in bed, I could hear them snoring next door. Then suddenly out of nowhere there was a pair of hands in the rubber gloves tickling my feet, but there was no arms or body, just the hands. Me being young I sat up and reached for one of the hands and the minute that I touched the glove I could actually feel a hand, then it disappeared the split second that I touched it and the gloves fell to the floor.
I just lay there unable to move and in complete shock. I didn't even want to run and tell my parents because they wouldn't have believed me and would have said I was just having a bad dream. I knew this was no dream as I had not even fallen asleep yet.
When i woke up the next day, I immediately looked over to see if the gloves were still there, but they weren't. I ran to the kitchen and opened the cupboard door and they were back under the sink.
This is absolutely true and really did happen to me and it wasn't my imagination. I hesitated to tell this story because it sounds so far-fetched, but I can promise you that this really did happen to me in that house.
