Ouija Board Communication

I've always had a fascination for Ouija boards and the many true stories people have shared with me over the years. Until I played with one myself about 15 years ago and had a terrible experience, but that is another story.

My interest in this so called 'game' began when I was about 12 years old. A school friend came into school after the Christmas school holiday break looking very worried about something. When break time arrived, I asked her what was wrong.

The first thing she said to me was. 'If I tell you, you must not tell any of the others' (meaning our class mates). I was sitting on the edge of my seat by now as I could see in her eyes she had something to say that would have caused anyone to have sold their soul to have heard.

So, she began to tell me a story that I have never forgotten since. Every detail has remained with me for the rest of my life and will until I pass on.

As bizarre as this sounds, her father bought her and her brother a 'Ouija board' for one of their Christmas presents (not so bizarre for me as I knew her strange father, although I did like him because he was so funny). I didn't really know what a Ouija board was at that point. She explained how it worked and then carried on with the story. She said they kept getting a man coming through who said. 'I shouldn't have left this land and I died behind the hedgerow.' He said his name was, Hyrum Smythe.

After many evenings of communicating with the Ouija board, my friend and her brother got her father to come and watch as the planchette moved around the board. Her father didn't believe it was working, so he decided to test them. He said, ask the Ouija what a 'navvy' is, knowing full well they wouldn't have known what that was. It spelled out 'labourer'. That was all he needed, so he picked up the board and threw it in the trash.

But that wasn't an end to it. My friend's brother never left dabbling with spirit communication alone after that and became obsessed with it. He regularly had a female spirit come through who claimed she loved him. She even communicated with him while he was on holiday with a friend. They were sat on the roof terrace when his friend went downstairs to get some drinks from the hotel bar. While he was gone, marks began appearing in the gravel at the side of his chair, like a finger was making them. It spelled, 'I love you.' He ran down the stairs into the hotel lobby and refused to go back to their room. When they got home from the holiday, he kept using the Ouija board and communicating with her, even though he was scared of her. She wanted him to die.

Now this is the strange part. He did die, at only 29 years old, when after leaving a restaurant with a friend, he collapsed outside on the pavement. His death was unknown. This is not exaggerated.

I personally think that his obsession with the Ouija board had something to do with his death. I've never touched a Ouija board since my one and only experience. Ouija boards and what communicates with you are very dangerous. A lot of people are of the opinion, what comes through are not spirits of our loved ones, or any other kind, they are non-human energies that deceive you.
