Cyclopes and Giants: the ancient alien workforce

ANCIENT MYTHOLOGY - Odysseus and his party liked what they saw on the island. Next they came near the land of the Cyclops and they landed on an island in view of it.

It was a plentiful land, with goats and sheep grazing, just waiting to be picked up for a feast. When they investigated the island further, they discovered huge, rough buildings in which the cyclops lived. When the cyclops went out to herd his sheep,  Odysseus group stole his cheeses and meat and feasted on them.

Odysseus was afraid but he spoke anyway and entreated the cyclops to give them the courtesy due a guest. The cyclops told him that he didn't care about Zeus and did not fear him. Unfortunately the site hopes to discover them, smashed some of their heads into a rock and make them prisoners. Thanks to Odysseus’ clever thinking, the group did manage to escape in the end. They had to wait for the right moment, when the cyclops moved the huge stone that was broken in at the entrance to his home
