Emmy Award-winning Pop Culture Phenomenon From Chris Carter Is Back as Six-Episode Event Series
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to Reprise Their Roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully
Thirteen years after the original series run, FOX has ordered the next mind-bending chapter of THE X-FILES, a thrilling, six-episode event series which will be helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson re-inhabiting their roles as iconic FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. This marks the momentous return of the Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning pop culture phenomenon, which remains one of the longest-running sci-fi series in network television history.
The announcement was made today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group and Chris Carter, creator and executive producer of THE X-FILES. Production on THE X-FILES event series is set to begin in summer 2015. Further details remain under wraps and will be announced at a later date.
“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” said Carter. “The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”

THE X-FILES originally premiered in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

I have been visited by gray aliens for much of my life...
Ripley, GB - (WARNING: SEXUALLY GRAPHIC)- I stood in my front door and witnessed a craft hovering over the house across the street it was probably 100 feet away. I heard no sound and thought at first it was a satalite or just a star. I was talking to the object and as I watched someone walked down the street on my side of the road. The object descended below the house until the person had passed by and then returned to its original position about a metre above the house and behind it. I immediately ran upstairs and returned with a large knife and I held the knife in my hands with my hands outstretched in front of me. I layed the knife on the ground in a gesture of peace as if I was laying down arms. I have been visited by gray aliens for much of my life and it is always a thrill to see a ufo in the flesh. I have seen about four ufo's and also voices in my head once told me to go outside if I wanted to see something and I walked up the street and saw a shooting star that they had probably been tracking. anyway back to the story... I stood outside my house for about five minutes more and the ufo finally rose up into the sky and disappeared... I really think these type of aliens are here to help us on earth... I think they despise the use of nuclear bombs and they cannot stay on the surface of this planet long because of fungi and bacteria... they are making some of their children into humanoids very much like us however they want their children to lay eggs... I once had an experience of how male grays look after their eggs the female has a vagina where our belly button is and the males suck the eggs out of this hole and clean them in their mouths before returning them to the vagina I am unsure if the eggs are fertilised in this way or if they are merely maintaining the health of the infant grays... Once I was taken to a base where I met some of their human like females and was encouraged to have sex with them.. I had three girls sit on me and they expect you to come immediately so I was unable to come with the first two girls and cried for the third girl to stay on me longer they were really stunning girls in their looks and they had strange vaginas in that they were bigger in girth than our women and the inside of their holes were covered in spikey protuberances as if to give the man grip when he enters them... I was just able to come inside the third girl but I did notice that the girls seemed to lack self esteem despite being absolutely amazing to look at... I felt they thought they were not good enough when I didn't come immediately... I think their vaginas were this size so they can push out eggs with babys inside...I guess you would know their babys because they would not have belly buttons when they break from the eggshell... I have also noticed that they don't like how we eat eggs perhaps because they are scared that they may be used like chickens.. I know this would not happen and I hope you agree with me...

Nazi Hideout Found in Argentina
Buenos Aires (AFP) - An Argentine archaeologist who discovered what he thinks was a hideout built for German Nazis to flee to after World War II said more dark secrets may be buried there.
Daniel Schavelzon grabbed headlines and revived uncomfortable memories for Argentina, a notorious refuge for Nazi war criminals, when he went public at the weekend with his discovery of mysterious ruins deep in the jungle that he suspects were planned as a Nazi hideout.
Excavating at the three stone buildings, his team found a swastika etched in the ruins, German coins stamped with the Nazi symbol and a fragment of porcelain plate bearing the inscription "Made in Germany."
But research at the site has only just begun, said Schavelzon, head of the urban archaeology center at the University of Buenos Aires.
"We brought out lots of material to study and there's more to excavate," he told AFP.
"Analyzing the material could take many months. It's even possible there are other buildings we still haven't found. It's a complicated area to work in, with lots of vegetation, impenetrable."
He said he needed to find more funding to continue researching the ruins.
Schavelzon spent two weeks excavating at the site, which is located in the Teyu Cuare provincial park in northern Argentina, near the border with Paraguay.
He suspects it was part of a project to build shelters for top Nazi leaders in rugged, inaccessible locations with easy escape routes.
"These buildings date from the mid-20th century. At that time, nobody could reach this spot. It was all jungle. That shows the secrecy of the place," said Schavelzon.
"In five minutes you can get to another country. You cross the river and you're in Paraguay. It's a strategic, very well thought-out site."
The nearest town, San Ignacio, some 60 kilometers (35 miles) away, did not exist then, he said.
The buildings were made from large stones typical in the area, with high foundations, he said. One, situated higher than the others, appears to have been a lookout post.
Ultimately, however, Nazi leaders did not need a remote Argentine hideout.
"They didn't need to go into hiding deep in the jungle since they ended up living in Argentina with impunity and protection. They had passports and even used their real names," said Schavelzon.
Thousands of Nazis, Italian fascists and Croatian Ustasha fled to Argentina with the blessing of late president Juan Peron, according to the Nazi-hunting Simon Wiesenthal Center.
In 1960, Adolf Eichmann, one of the masterminds of the Holocaust, was captured in Buenos Aires by an Israeli commando team and tried in Israel, where he was executed.
Other Nazis who sought refuge in Argentina include Joseph Mengele, the Auschwitz death camp doctor who performed atrocious experiments on prisoners; Josef Schwammberger, a concentration camp commander; and Erich Priebke, an SS officer convicted of massacring civilians whose death in Rome in 2013 sparked an international dispute.

Shape-Shifting Frog Discovered in Ecuadorian Andes
Found in the Ecuadorian Andes, the unique species is able to perfectly blend in with almost anything.
Chameleons are well known for being able to change their skin coloration as a way to camouflage themselves, but now a frog discovered in Ecuador may be able to give even these masters of disguise a run for their money thanks to its unique ability to change the actual texture of its skin to match the terrain it is sitting on.
Found within the Reserva Las Gralarias, a nature reserve situated in the western Andean cloud forest, the new amphibian is thought to be the first species ever to exhibit this shape-shifting ability.
Researcher Katherine Krynak, who discovered the frog while on an expedition with her husband, described how they had originally believed that they had picked up the wrong creature when it seemed to change from spiky to smooth-skinned when placed on a sheet of plastic.
"I then put the frog back in the cup and added some moss," she said. "The spines came back... we simply couldn't believe our eyes, our frog changed skin texture !"
It is thought that this ability may help the frogs to protect themselves against predators.
"The spines and coloration help them blend into mossy habitats, making it hard for us to see them," said Krynak. "But whether the texture really helps them elude predators still needs to be tested." - EurekaAlert
