Four schools in Southern Zimbabwe suspended lessons in early November 2013 after complaints that children were being attacked by goblins. "The whole school is being affected," said one headmaster. "We cannot continue operating under such conditions. When the attacks start, pupils run amok. They start screaming and panicking. Apparently this is not the first case that involving goblins, from 2012
